This Rockport, IN resident had a nasty crawl space in need of a makeover. Moisture from the ground underneath a crawl space keeps wood damp, creating an ideal location for mold to grow. Unfortunately, this is exactly what was happening this Rockport home. The crawl space was also musty, causing the entire house to have an odor. Solution

Design Specialist, Damon Cheatham, recommended a full mold remediation. Mold can easily spread when disrupted, which is why it's crucial to have a professional. We quarantine the area to ensure that the mold doesn't spread. Next, we treat the entire area with chemicals to kill any remaining mold and prevent regrowth.

Prevention is key when it comes to mold. When we control the moisture, we control the mold. We installed a vapor barrier with the CleanSpace liner. It's a durable, bright white crawl space liner that will prevent water vapor and humidity from passing through. It also has a mold-resistant additive that will never support mildew or mold growth on its surface.
