Flooding Crawlspace in Owensboro, KY Repaired

Here, you can see the mud that the team encountered in the crawlspace.

The first step was to direct moisture into the EZFlow 3in drain system using drainage matting.

Drainage matting is also called "Dimple Roll" due to the dimples you can see on the surface. The dimples help direct water because they create little channels underneath to move water.

Drainage matting has to be installed so the dimple pattern directs moisture to the closest EZFlow 3in pipe.

Once the EZFlow and the drainage matting is installed, the Healthy Spaces team covered the entire floor and up the walls of the crawlspace with CleanSpace.

CleanSpace is guaranteed against rips, tears, and water on top of the liner for 25 years when installed with a proper drainage system and it's been tested across the United States and in several other countries with great success. It really is the most advanced vapor barrier product available!

Here is the EverLast Well Access installed on the south side of the home. This Owensboro home had an addition added post-construction and the two pieces of the house do not have connected crawlspaces, meaning that the homeowners needed an EverLast Well Access on the south side of the home and an EverLast Door on the north side.

In this picture, the Healthy Spaces team has begun the discharge line. All the sod and soil are placed on plastic to keep the work area tidy and make restoring the landscaping easier.

The discharge line is being terminated 30' outside of the home in order to make sure that water removed from the crawlspace does not flow back into the crawlspace.
