Evansville Foundation Repair and Basement Waterproofing
Challenge
These Evansville homeowners contacted Healthy Spaces after years of seasonal basement flooding. They had been shopping around regarding basement waterproofing for a long time, but they decided to speed up their plan when they discovered their block foundation wall was being pressed out of plumb by swelling soil.
They met with Jimmy Schaefer, the General Manager at Healthy Spaces, regarding their foundation and waterproofing concerns and he examined the property thoroughly before offering them a comprehensive solution.
Solution
To reinforce the block foundation walls, the Healthy Spaces crew installed 4 Carbon Armor straps from Foundation Supportworks. The Carbon Armor straps will help maintain wall stability. To combat the basement flooding, the Healthy Spaces team installed 136 linear feet of Waterguard, 2 Waterguard viewports, 1 SuperSump Sump Pump system with UltraSump battery backup, a FloodRing, and 140 linear feet of Brightwall. In addition, they extended the downspouts by 20 feet, and installed an extended discharge line with IceGuard and Lawnscape Outlet.
