Owensboro, KY Homeowners Suffered through Wet Basement too Long

Challenge

Adam N, a Owensboro homeowner, contacted Healthy Spaces because of constant wet basement issues in his home. His primary concerns were to get the basement dry again and to find out the cost of a basement waterproofing project compared to his budget.

He would like to have a dry basement in order to utilize it for storage and a recreation space for the family.

Solution

After Adam and his wife met with Damon Cheatham, the Healthy Spaces design specialist, they decided to install a full perimeter Waterguard drainage system with a Sanidry Upright dehumidifer, new basement windows, and a TripleSafe Sump System.

Jimmy and his installation team installed 146 linear feet of Waterguard, 5 inspection ports, the TripleSafe Sump pump system with over 25 feet of discharge line, and 90 linear feet of CleanSpace Wall System, as well as a FloodRing around the water heater and a Sanidry Upright with ductwork.

The installation was a textbook one with no major problems and kept to the 5 day installation schedule perfectly! The homeowners were thrilled with their newly waterproofed basement and the financing provided. Clean up was a 5 star rating!
