Evansville, IN Sump Pump Installation and Basement Waterproofing
Challenge
The basement was in very bad shape at the beginning of the job. A wall in the basement had a large amount of damage done to it as well as extensive amounts of mold in the crawlspace and basement. A sump pump was needed to be installed as well. There was many steps that needed to be taken in order to restore the basement and crawlspace into a managable condition. Our goal was to take those steps in a safe and effective manner to give the customer exactly what they wanted.
Solution
The way this was handled was over the course of 3 days and step by step. On day 1, the team sprayed husky in order to prep mold for removal. Following this was the scrubbing of the mold until it was fully removed from all surfaces of the crawlspace and basement. At the end of day 1 there was some jackhammering done to start the sump pump hole. Day 2 consisted of finishing the sump pump hole and creating trenches in order to lay piping for drainage. The crawlspace was finished on this day and all the CleanSpace for the basement was layed. At the end of the day the sump pump was fully installed as well as the waterguard. Day 3 the finishing touches were put on to the basement. The final concreting was done and the team left a happy customer with a renewed basement and crawlspace.
