Dry Track and Sump Pump Installation in Mount Vernon, IN

Challenge

These Mount Vernon, IN homeowners had been dealing with a wet basement for quite a while!  They contacted Healthy Spaces and met with a systems design specialist who helped them create a custom solution for their home.  This project needed the careful installation of a sump pump as well as installing a dry track. There was also a crack across the floor that needed to be filled in.

Solution

The installation of the sump pump was just like any other installation job. The hole was made and the pumped placed in it and then the concrete was laid. After that a device called a dry track was installed which is in place to help direct moisture to the sump pump. That was successfully completed and that only left the crack. That was an easy fix with some epoxy which essentially is a sealant used to fill in cracks.
