Flood -Spring 2011, Helping our local neighbors

This Spring we have had record breaking rain fall in the Tri- State area. For the month, Evansville has received 11.09 inches of rain, which is 7.25 inches above normal for April. The Ohio River and tributaries are steadily rising which is causing significant trouble spots in the community. Roads are closed and homes and flooded with water.

Our Healthy Spaces team members helped a homeowner that lives street from our corporate office. The home had about an inch of water inside when we arrived. A local company donated the sand and we bagged and laid the sand bags.  Now we wait for the water to subside.
