Drywall + Moisture= MOLD
The enemy of finished basements is mold. Wet, damaged drywall basement walls can be a breeding ground for mold and odors. It's what causes discoloration and rot of building materials. Drywall and wood are particularly vulnerable.
Restoring The Basement Walls
After the drainage system is installed, we need to restore the finished walls - WITHOUT removing the entire basement walls. The panels are cement board covered with a textured washable vinyl finish, and the trim is all plastic, all installed over metal studs.
The Perfect Finish on Basement Walls
The EverLast Panels combine the two most popular interior finish colors - off white and beige - laid in a designer pattern over a slightly alligatored vinyl.

Remove Damaged Drywall
Next, our team needed to cut and remove the damaged drywall and bottom of the studs. We then installed a perimeter drainage system, protecting their basement from any water intrusion.
Finished Basement Wall Panels in Indiana and Kentucky
Each panel has embedded metal studs along the board. These studs are separated from your foundation walls with 2" of insulation -- which eliminates energy-losing "cold spots" in the completed installation. These sturdy panels can support heavy items mounted directly into the wallboard -- with no need to cut away the insulation and expose the wall beyond; this includes cabinets, pictures, and even a full-sized plasma TV!
