Can you imaging finishing your basement just to have to rip everything out and redo it? NO! Mt. Vernon, Indiana homeowner Trish F. felt the same way. First and foremost, we recommended that we install our WaterGuard drainage system so that she could keep water out of her basement and stopping the problem at its core. With this, we recommended a new TripleSafe sump pump to properly discharge the water. After reviewing all the basement remodeling options, the homeowner decided on EverLast panels and luxury vinyl flooring. A SaniDry Dehumidification System will keep the air in the finished basement dry and fresh. The homeowners can sit back and relax in their new living space in their newly finished basement that not only is dry but a place they can spend quality time together.

This wet basement in Mount Vernon needed a permanent solution to its water problems. As you see, the cracks in the floor also allowed water to come through, wreaking havoc on the homeowners.

Cold, Wet Floors

As you can see, the floor is bare and just concrete because the old flooring had to be ripped up when the water issues began. They were hoping the issues would just go away, but they weren't so lucky.

Keeping the Basement Dry

A New TripleSafe Sump Pump was installed along with a WaterGuard drainage system to keep the basement water-free. The WaterGuard System runs around the perimeter of the basement and takes any excess water to the sump pump, which is disposed of through discharge lines.

Basement Drywall Removal

Our crew removed the wet drywall to get ready for the next phase of this project. Organic materials like drywall soak up moisture and can lead to rot and mold. You can also see the concrete that was poured on top of the new WaterGuard System.

The homeowners not only wanted a family area but they wanted a couple different looks throughout the basement. On the left side, they have a bar area, and on the right side the have a big TV with a cozy fire place.
