Entering a humid and wet crawl space can be intimidating when there are no expectations of what you will find. A couple in Rockport, IN, wanted to be able to enter their crawl space without any worries. Their crawl space was damp and humid, with muddy floors. The black tarp was covering the floors but did not supply any dry air. If humidity is not taken care of, then it can lead to wood rot, mold, and water on crawl space floors.Banishing humidity for good, and making their crawl space last as long as their home is simple if the right procedure is followed. CleanSpace was put in to create an “inside environment” making it tolerable to enter the space. CleanSpace seals all cracks and outside air on the floor and sides of the crawl space. The couple was ecstatic to learn that CleanSpace had made it possible for them to enter their crawl space without hesitation.
Humid and Damp
The black tarp was laid throughout the crawlspace while some patches of dirt were exposed. This tarp does not help anything regarding the overall health of the crawl space because the outside air is still being exposed.
Moisture on the Walls
The walls consisted of moisture, which is the darker brown color displayed on the walls.
Drainage Matting with Dimples
Drainage matting with dimples adds an additional protective layer before the CleanSpace is laid down. It also helps drain the water that is beneath the CleanSpace.
CleanSpace
CleanSpace gives it an "indoor" atmosphere while protecting the crawl space from the air outside.
All Sealed Away
Any openings were sealed properly to prevent water and air from entering the crawl space.
