Photo Album: Water and Moisture in the Crawl in Owensville, IN

In Owensville, Indiana, a contractor working for an owner of a commercial building in town contacted Healthy Spaces. The crawl space had moisture and water leaking inside the crawl space, which caused the wooden beams to become weak over time. Since the moisture had softened the wooden beams, the floor above was starting to sag. Another area had a concrete column that was leaning to the right. The contractor knew that the only way to repair it was to find a permanent solution and get rid of the DIY repairs that were shoved in open gaps to temporarily fix the issue.  Before encapsulation took place, the SmartJacks needed to be put in.
