This Newburgh, IN home had two different foundation problems. The basement walls were bowing so significantly that the homeowners feared that the wall would start to crumble.
To make matters worse, one of the corners of the foundation was settling, causing cracks and other structural problems.
The challenge for the Healthy Spaces installation crew was to install the wall anchors required to stabilize and fix the bowing walls while minimizing disruption to the recently landscaped yard. In addition, the settling corner was located in an area that would be very difficult to excavate by machine.
Fortunate,y the crews knew just what to do, and the settling area was manually excavated in order for the brackets to be installed.
