In this case, the basement was finished and flooded to the point that the entire area had to be gutted, cleaned and treated for mold, then waterproofed. In the midst of this project, the homeowners also discovered that the basement walls were bowing slightly and needed to be stabilized. The installation crew used CarbonFiber strapping to stabilize the walls.
The homeowners also elected to insulate the basement prior to installing Everlast wall panels for the finished project. The installation crew also installed a Waterguard system to control future groundwater and a powerful, Zoeller sump pump called a SuperSump to pump water out of the basement and away from the house. The entire project took 8 days and looks great!
