A customer from Henderson, KY, was interested in waterproofing their basement. Waterproofing their basement was an interest of theirs because they wanted to have peace of mind that their keepsakes would be safe. In the past, the homeowner had trouble with water seeping onto the floor through the bottoms of the walls, especially during months when rain was common. When water is finding a way into a space where it is not meant to be, it can be frustrating. To keep the basement dry at all times, a small trench is made in the ground alongside the walls.  Once the trench is completed, clean washed stones are put inside the trench for the WaterGuard system to lay on top of. The WaterGuard system has a built-in 3/8-inch gap between the floor and the wall to drain wall leaks. The system has a big drain outlet to the TripleSafe sump pump that is installed. The TripleSafe sump pump will pump water outdoors, away from the basement.  The homeowner was relieved to know that their basement would be water free and safe for future storage or living space.
