Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: How SilverGlo is Installed in an Evansville Crawlspace

SilverGlo Installation is part of an energy efficient crawlspace encapsulation system when paired with Cleanspace. The walls of a crawlspace leach heat into the surrounding soil during the colder winter months, which can substantially increase your heating costs and make your furnance work harder than usual. You can see here that the SilverGlo panel is being lifted into position to adhere the wall. After the panel is secured to the wall, it will be riveted to the wall and then Cleanspace will be applied over that to create a sealed crawlspace system.

In this picture, you can see the rivet securing the SilverGlo Insulation to the crawlspace wall. Now that the rivets have been set, those spots will be covered with reflective tape so that the panels maintain a completely heat reflective surface.

Finishing CleanSpace Installation

The tape roll that you see in this shot is no ordinary tape. It's a water-resistant, super sticky tape that is used exclusively to make sure that CleanSpace stays exactly where it should.

In this shot, you can see the Pinkie Roll installed over the walls to finished isolating the crawlspace from the outside air, groundwater, and dirt. This area, once the HVAC system has filtered through, will be a conditioned space.
