The warped subfloor supports are not able to bear the same weight as they had previously, so some of them have begun to crack, as you can see in the top foreground support. In addition, you can see that the two supports further back in the picture have warped vertically as well as horizontally, which is causing problems in the above wood plank floor. There are gaps and uneven depth that you can detect with the naked eye! It's causing trip hazards for this elderly homeowner couple.
