Crawlspace Prepared for Installation
Here you can see the dirt crawlspace after it has been graded and had any debris removed from the floor. Now, the installation team will install the SilverGlo insulation on the walls. SilverGlo is an excellent insulation for crawlspaces because it is a board insulation that will not attract critters by providing nesting material and it won't mold when exposed to moisture.
SilverGlo Installed along Walls
Next, the installation team installs the SilverGlo, an R11 rated insulation, along all the walls. This will keep the crawlspace a more constant temperature and will allow the HVAC system to operate more efficiently.
Close Up of SilverGlo Insulation
Here, you can see where the SilverGlo panels have been riveted onto the walls to keep everything in place. After the SilverGlo has been installed on all of the walls, the installation team will also place SilverGlo between the subfloor joists on the exterior walls. This will stop heat loss in those locations.
CleanSpace Liner being Installed
Here, you can see that the team is installing CleanSpace along a non-load bearing crawlspace wall. This wall needed to be wrapped completely around to ensure that no water penetrated the wall and got drawn up the concrete blocks through capillary action.

The CleanSpace liner is now being installed across the entire floor. Notice how the installation team has made sure that the CleanSpace comes part way up the wall before being taped off? This overlap ensures that the seam between the wall and the floor will not leak.
Overview of CleanSpace Installation in Progress
In this photo, you can see an overview of the progress made in the crawlspace encapsulation. The CleanSpace has been rolled out and secured across the entire floor and now, the last thing to do will be to CleanSpace the walls.
