Sagging Floors in Drakesboro, KY

Homeowners in Drakesboro, KY was worried that something was seriously wrong with their home's foundation when it became hard to open and close their doors. Along with sagging floors, the home's structural integrity was seriously concerning the owners. They then contacted Healthy Spaces after reading all of their reviews online.

Our Design Specialist, Mike Rogers, who specializes in foundation repair visited the home and completed a thorough evaluation in the crawl space. Mike saw that the problems the homeowners were experiencing correlated with the support beams in the crawl space. He also discovered mold and high levels humidity in the crawl space.

Solution

Foreman, Robbie Stoutenberg, and crew installed 6 of our SmartJacks system. The SmartJack System will level and stabilize the existing beams and floor joists in the crawl space.

As previously mentioned, there were high levels of humidity in this crawl space, so our team encapsulated the crawl space by installed CleanSpace and replaced the previous crawl space door with an EverLast Door. CleanSpace is a durable, bright white crawl space liner that installs on the walls and floor, preventing water vapor and humidity from passing through. The EverLast Crawl Space Door is made entirely out of completely inorganic plastics and foams. This prevents them from ever rotting or rusting. Once installed, it creates an airtight, waterproof seal between your crawl space and the cold, humid air outside.
