This Reed, KY family was experiencing foundation problems. They had noticed some stair-step cracking in the exterior of their home. Every time they saw it, they had an uneasy feeling and would check to see if the crack had gotten worse. They knew that it was just a matter of time before it spread. They also checked around the exterior of the home often to see if any more cracks had appeared, which had happened. They knew their home was older, and the foundation was slowly falling apart. 

These homeowners finally realized that their stress was too much on themselves, so they decided to turn it over to the professionals. 

Solution

Design Specialist, Donnie Stuteville, came to inspect the home. He got in the crawl space and took a look around the whole perimeter. The stair-step cracks had gotten worse, so he told the homeowners he recommended that they get their foundation repaired. This would help the foundation become stabilized and stop it from getting any worse.
