Foundation Repair Photo Album: Gaps in Foundation in Evansville, IN
When a room in your home has started to slope, it's time to reach out to Healthy Spaces for a FREE inspection. In Evansville, IN, Healthy Spaces received a call from a homeowner about foundation issues. A previous inspection report showed gaps in the foundation and one room that was sloping. The homeowner was ready to stabilize her home.
Push piers made of steel, compared to concrete piers, will permanently stabilize your home's foundation. To begin the process, soil from around the foundation's footing is removed. Next, an engineered steel bracket is placed under the footing. The steel pier section is hydraulically actuated by supporting the bedrock or stabilizing the soil layer. Once this job is accomplished, the weight of the home is transferred from the concrete foundation, through the steel bracket and piers, to the deep load-bearing soil or bedrock. The lift brought the home back to its original position.

Push Pier System
The best way to lift the home back up to its original position is the push-pier system.
After
Once the push pier system is completed, the soil is put back where it was.
