In Evansville, IN, a family began to worry about their keepsakes in the basement when the mud was finding its way inside. If the mud was finding its way into the basement, then some cracks needed to be sealed. Whenever water or mud is leaking into a basement, then mold may grow on the corners or bottom of the walls. If water is touching the wall, then more than likely, mold will too. Unwanted things entering a basement can be overwhelming, but it is fixable!
Since it was a possibility that water was entering through the walls as well, CleanSpace was put up on the walls. This will direct any water to flow to the bottom of the wall, into the water guard system. A trench is placed beside the bottoms of the walls and then the water guard system is put in place. The water guard system will then direct the water to the SuperSump Pump. The SuperSump Pump pumps water to the outside. This whole system made it possible for the family to be able to store their keepsakes safely in the basement again.
A basement in Hartford, KY, needed waterproofing done to the basement when the homeowners noticed water coming in. Water damage can be a serious issue if it is affecting the foundation and creating mold on the walls. A basement staircase can be affected if it is made out of processed organic materials such as wood. The stairs can become unsafe and bouncy if stepped on. The homeowners were adamant about the safety of their basements.
To transform the basement from a once damp and humid place to a clean and relaxing room. Basements to Beautiful panels were put on the walls. These panels are waterproof, insulated with integrated electrical chases, and “warm” studs. These panels are custom-engineered foam panels with integral studs that are fastened directly to your foundation walls. Water guards were also installed along the borders of the wall to direct the water to the TripleSafe Sump Pump that was put in. The basement modified the space into a peaceful atmosphere that the family could enjoy.
A modernized and clean crawl space was a wish for a homeowner in Hanson, KY. Modernizing a crawl space can be a good thing if done correctly. The crawl space consisted of pink insulation that is considered “out of date” compared to the great innovations that can be installed. The pink insulation is pointless because if it gets humid in a crawl space, it will drip down and not work as intended. Upgrading to a dry, clean crawl space is any homeowner’s dream!
The pink insulation is referred to as fiberglass floor insulation, and when moisture is mixed in the air, it is a very bad combination! The insulation was taken out of the crawl space while CleanSpace was put all around the floor and sides of the space. This type of liner will save you more money than fiberglass insulation since it protects the space from the outside climate. A SmartSump Pump and SaniDry Sedona are installed in the space. The SaniDry Sedona will create a dry air flow at all times. Once the crawl space was completed, the homeowner had a modernized, money-saving space!
In Henderson KY, a family reached out about a concern that water puddles were in their crawl space. A swimming pool is fun, but water in a crawl space? No thank you! Water in crawl spaces can create humidity and then mold can grow in any processed organic areas. When a crawl space has any open areas, then the climate outdoors will sneak in, which is something that can be prevented.
A great entryway that the family decided to purchase was the Turtl. The Turtl is a brown entry door that can be locked from the outside and seals the crawl space off from the outdoor environment. CleanSpace was installed throughout the crawl space to prevent water from reaching the crawl space air. A SmartSump Pump and SaniDry Sedona were installed. A SmartSump Pump helps pump water out of the crawl space while the SaniDry Sedona keeps the air dry. Once the crawl space was completed with all the necessities, the family was ecstatic to know that their space would be protected for years to come!
A basement in Evansville, IN, needed a little love. The window located on the top middle section of one of the basement walls needed to be replaced and sealed correctly. Since the window was not sealed correctly, it was allowing moisture to enter the basement. Over time, moisture in the basement may cause mold spores to spread, leaving health at risk. Prolonged mold exposure can cause asthma. The home homeowners were eager to replace the window!
The EverLast window was installed to replace the old window. The EverLast window is energy efficient with all-vinyl windows that are double-pane glass. This window makes it perfect for a damp environment that is close to the ground. Once the window was replaced, it gave the space a sense of redemption. It thrilled the homeowners that they were able to look through their basement windows without seeing rust.
