A home in Henderson Ky, needed extra love when the family reached out to us about a bowing wall in their basement. When it came time to inspect the wall, stair-step cracking was evident. Stair-step cracking at the corners of a bowing wall typically means that the problem is getting worse. As the wall bows more severely in the middle, the corners are held up by adjacent walls, creating the stair-step cracking effect.
There are a few options to repair bowing walls, such as stair-step cracking, but choosing which method depends on how your home is set up. This home did not have soil behind the wall since it led to a patio outside, so the wall anchor system would not be an option. The PowerBrace system was the best choice in this scenario since it is held up from within the inside of the basement. The family was pleased to have the basement safe for years to come!
In Newburgh, IN, a family wished to have an access well to the crawl space that was located outside their home. The old entryway was not insulated, causing any weather conditions outside, to enter the crawl space. If one of the family members needed to enter the crawl space from the outside, it was a bit difficult due to the tight entryway. If your crawl space entrance is below the ground outside, it likely lets in air and collects water and debris, but this can be fixed!
The Turtl access well combines a secure crawl space door and access that has no leaky joints. Since it is made from rigid plastic, the Turtl will never rot or corrode. An added benefit of the Turtl is that it is secure and lockable. The Turtl is clean and dry, secure and lockable, and looks great from the outside. Once the Turtl access well is installed for the family, it will provide accessibility and security for the home.
The blocks in the wall of the basement were starting to buckle, causing the homeowner to reach out to us from Evansville, IN. When a situation like this is left untreated over time, the issue will only get worse. The safety of your home as well as yours is at risk. The home was experiencing settlement, which is the movement your home experiences when the soil below can no longer support its weight. Droughts, mature trees, and heavy rains are a few causes of home settlement.
To correct and stabilize the bowing of the wall, the PowerBrace system is custom-fitted to the basement wall height and secured tightly against it. The patented design allows the system to be tightened over time, stopping wall failure without any invasive drilling or digging on the property. A Waterguard system was installed in the ground beside the walls to direct water to the Super Sump pump that was put in. Any heavy rain will not be able to affect the homeowner’s foundation any longer!

In Fort Branch, IN, a homeowner had a wish to finish their basement to have more room to roam around in. The basement needed to be waterproofed, so homeowners reached out to us in hopes that we could make that happen. It’s exciting to be able to restore a part of your home and to allow us to be a part of it! Any homeowner with a basement will breathe basement air. Whatever is in your basement air is in your home and affects you, whether you spend much time in the basement or not. If there is high humidity downstairs, then there is high humidity upstairs. If there is mold in the basement, there are mold spores upstairs.
The walls of the basement needed to be waterproofed, so the CleanSpace Wall System was set in place. Covering your basement walls with the CleanSpace wall system economically brightens your house. The homeowners were planning on adding their wall paneling to the bottom halves of the basement walls. A Waterguard system was installed alongside the basement walls to ensure that if any water were entering in, then it would be directed to the TripleSafe sump pump that was put in. Once the basement waterproofing was finished, the room’s atmosphere felt tranquil and the homeowners were pleased.
